Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the component engineering group supporting DoW programs. You will analyze non-standard parts, lead reviews, and mentor junior engineers to ensure component reliability.

Responsibilities include collaboration with test teams, reviewing data, and delivering reports to customers. A Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience and US citizenship with clearance ability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience.
• Component or Systems Engineering with focus on quality and reliability.
• Knowledge of IEEE parts and MIL-STD requirements.
• Ability to analyze military standards vs part data.
• Ability to communicate with customers and write technical reports.
• Experience with electronic component testing and characterization.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Non-Standard Part Approval Requests and advise suitability.
• Lead Part/Materials/Processes Review meetings on non-standard parts.
• Mentor junior engineers in evaluation of components using data.
• Collaborate with environmental/radiation test teams for characterization.
• Review test data and prepare reports for customers.
