Job summary

WilliamsRDM, Inc. in Fort Worth is seeking a Production Support Engineer to provide crucial floor support, develop and maintain assembly work instructions, routings, and BOMs for defense electro-mechanical products.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, research tooling, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while gaining hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes on the production floor.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
0-3 years experience in a production engineering or related role, preferably in defense electro-mechanical products.
Proficiency in reading drawings and parts lists; ability to follow established procedures.
Familiarity with ERP systems and CAD software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical production floor support during manufacturing and troubleshoot issues under guidance.
Develop and update assembly work instructions for defense electro-mechanical products.
Create and maintain routings and BOMs in ERP system.
Research tooling requirements for production and contribute to process optimization.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and document management.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams.
Assist bid and proposal team in pricing efforts by estimating assembly labor and material costs.
