Job summary

MDMartin LLC in Dallas/Fort Worth area seeks aMechanical Assembler to support engineers in design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components. Training will occur in Grapevine, TX for 2–3 weeks before assignment to the Fort Worth site.

The role requires reading drawings, using hand and torque tools, and complying with SOP/WI. Overtime or shift work may be needed; strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or above; technical majors Mechanical/Electronics/IE preferred.
  • Experience in server/system assembly, PCBA handling, or manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Able to read basic 2D/3D drawings or assembly diagrams.
  • Proficient with hand tools, torque tools, and electric drivers.
  • Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble server/system units per SOP/WI (modules, screws, cables, mechanical parts).
  • Install and remove PCBA while following ESD rules.

  • Support Pilot Run, NPI, and build activities.
  • Assemble, maintain, label, and validate production fixtures.
  • Manage fixture check‑in/out and perform basic inspections to ensure readiness.

  • Record production data or test results when required.

Training

Please Note: Training will take place in Grapevine, Texas for approximately 2-3 weeks. Upon successful completion of training, the employee will be assigned to their permanent worksite in Fort Worth, Texas.

Position Summary

Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity for handling precision tools and components.
  • Occasional climbing or reaching for overhead tooling storage.
  • Noise Level moderate to high due to machinery and equipment operation.
  • Temperatures may vary, including exposure to heat from machines or cooler warehouse conditions.
