Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Defect Metrology Technician to join the Yield/Defect Metrology department. The role involves detailed defect analysis, calibration of metrology tools, and collaboration with engineers to improve process yields.

The position offers opportunities across multiple shifts (4/5/6/7) with a compressed work week. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metrology, defect analysis, and equipment maintenance, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• At least one of the following education/experience combos: 3+ years hands-on experience or military technical experience.
• 2+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
• 2+ years technical experience or a related certification.
• 2+ years' experience with user level computer operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform defect analysis using advanced metrology tools (CD, overlay, film thickness).
• Identify and classify defects based on criteria and standards.
• Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with Yield/Defect Metrology teams to drive process improvements.
• Document and communicate defect analysis results and measurements.
