Job summary

Micron Technology Inc. is seeking an ID1 RDA Process Engineer to monitor inline defectivity, identify process anomalies, and drive defect reduction initiatives across global manufacturing sites.

You will leverage advanced inspection and metrology tools, analyze large data sets, and partner with manufacturing, process integration, and yield teams to improve defect performance and process quality in high-volume fabrication environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to investigate process anomalies, perform root cause analysis and interpret complex data sets.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, tools and manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing, specifically RDA or Metrology.

Responsibilities

• Analyze process flows, defect data and inline signals to identify anomalies and drive corrective actions.
• Support experimentation, baseline health monitoring and defect reduction initiatives across high-volume manufacturing.
• Utilize inspection and metrology tools to detect process issues early and identify sources of variation.
• Partner with global manufacturing, process integration, process development and yield teams to deploy best-known methods.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigations and process optimization.
