What We Do

The Default Claims Manager monitors and completes activities related to claim filing in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company guidelines. This role involves managing claims timelines and workflows, ensuring adherence to work rules and objectives to improve performance. The candidate will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and unwavering customer service commitment.

What You'll Do

  1. Service mortgage accounts to ensure claims are processed in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines, including interactions with attorneys, investors, insurers, and other parties involved in claims.
  2. Monitor all loans in the claims queue to meet required milestones.
  3. Complete claim activities and file claims as needed.
  4. Audit claims to identify trends or risks.
  5. Maintain quality assurance metrics.
  6. Recommend process improvements to management.
  7. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
  9. Stay updated on regulatory and legal changes affecting claims.
  10. Review vendor performance and monitor system activities throughout the claims process.
  11. Follow up diligently on outstanding requests and calls.
  12. Manage exception reports to minimize risks.

What You'll Bring

  1. 5+ years of Default Liquidation Claim Experience.
  2. 3+ years of progressive management experience.
  3. Ability to lead projects and develop scalable processes.
  4. Experience with GSE and government claims.
  5. Knowledge of ICE technology, MSP, and LoanSphere Claims.
  6. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.
  7. Attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
  9. Independent work capability and completion of assignments.
  10. Excellent communication skills, including coaching and motivating staff.

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 annually

This range is an estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
