Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a DEF blending operations technician to manage daily blending processes and basic equipment maintenance at DEF plants. The role requires working on-site at blending facilities and coordinating with rail shipments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of maintenance experience. Strong safety and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required.
• Minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily DEF blending operations and collect/submit product samples.
• Perform light plant maintenance (greasing equipment, water system checks, filter/resin bed changes).
• Coordinate rail car deliveries of DEF concentrate with DEF Rail Movements Specialist.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with guidance from the Assistant Manager; maintain spare parts inventory.
• Ensure safety and operating procedures are followed at blending sites; implement approved changes.
• Travel to other DEF sites for blending operations as needed.
• Model company values and support guests and team members at the highest level.
