Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a DEF blending operations specialist to conduct daily blending processes and perform equipment maintenance at DEF blending plants. The role involves coordinating rail deliveries, troubleshooting equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards across sites.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of technical maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
• Valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required.
• Minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred.
• Good technical skills and understanding of flow measurement equipment and systems.
• Ability to use hand tools to replace or repair pumps and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily DEF blending process and collect samples.
• Perform light plant maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
• Coordinate rail car deliveries with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist.
• Troubleshoot with guidance, repair equipment, and track spare parts.
• Ensure safety and operational procedures at blending sites.
• Suggest process improvements and help implement changes.
• Travel to other DEF sites as needed.
• Model company values and support guests and team members.
• Comply with all relevant rules and policies.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
