Job summary

Weber State University is seeking a Dee Events Center Stage Crew member to support ceremonies and public events on campus, including commencements and graduations. Work at the Dee Event Center and other facilities as needed.

The role requires a valid Utah driver's license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Hourly rate is $15.00 with a 20-hour work week.

Job Summary/Basic Function

Under direction of Stage Crew Supervisor, setup and take down of stage decking, chairs, and risers for College commencements and graduations, High School graduations, and other public events as designated. Work to be primarily done at Event Sports Facilities (Dee Event Center, Marquard Field House, Stewart Stadium, and other places on campus as required).

• Ability to obtain Forklift Operators certificate

Due to the Affordable Care Act ( ACA ), individuals who have worked in a salaried capacity for Weber State University are ineligible to be hired as an hourly or adjunct employee at Weber State for six months.
