Job summary

Weber State University, Department of Automotive Technology, seeks an Events and Maintenance Assistant to support NCAA events and campus activities in Ogden, UT. You will help with setup and takedown of equipment and assist the Gym Operations and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with troubleshooting and maintaining fitness spaces.

Hours are 5–10 per week year-round, pay is hourly, and candidates must have a valid Utah driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and takedown of equipment for NCAA events and other university/public events.

• Job Summary/Basic Function
• Assist with the setup and take down of equipment for various NCAA events such as Volleyball, Soccer, Track and Field and other university and public events. The Events and Maintenance Assistant will also aid the Gym Operations and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with troubleshooting and maintaining fitness equipment and spaces as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Utah Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain fork lift and scissor lift operators certificate, American Red CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, experience with working events and or/maintaining equipment.
