Job summary

Weber State University is seeking an hourly Stage Crew member for the Dee Events Center and related venues. You will assist with setting up and tearing down stage decking, chairs, and risers for commencements, graduations, and other events.

The role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, with an average of 20 hours per week. A Utah driver’s license and a high school diploma are required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah Driver’s License is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Forklift Operators certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down of stage decking, chairs, and risers for commencements and graduations and other events.
• Work primarily at Event Sports Facilities on campus as required (Dee Event Center, Marquard Field House, Stewart Stadium).

Under direction of Stage Crew Supervisor, setup and take down of stage decking, chairs, and risers for College commencements and graduations, High School graduations, and other public events as designated. Work to be primarily done at Event Sports Facilities (Dee Event Center, Marquard Field House, Stewart Stadium, and other places on campus as required).

Ability to obtain Forklift Operators certificate
