Job summary

ALTOR is seeking a Deductions Analyst to drive accuracy in revenue recognition and minimize financial exposure from customer deductions. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience leading cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; 5+ years in AR/deduction management or related finance operations.
Experience with retail customers and cost-savings initiatives is a plus.
Proven ability to manage and deliver cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
Advanced proficiency in Excel; data analysis with Power BI/Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve retail customer deductions with supporting documents (invoices, POs, remittances, shipment records).
Validate deductions from promotional allowances to ensure they align with plans.
Maintain audit-ready records in the Deduction Management System.
Identify recurring issues and partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and IT to implement corrective actions.
