Job summary

The Shaw Education Trust is hiring a dedicated Teaching Assistant for The Russett School, a specialist setting for learners aged 2 to 19 with SLD and complex needs. You will work alongside teachers to provide targeted support, helping pupils access learning and develop independence in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with diverse needs.
• Support pupils to access learning and participate fully in school life.
• Develop pupils' confidence, independence and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow individual education plans and adapt activities to pupils’ needs.
• Build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to provide consistent support.
