Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a dedicated One to One Observer to monitor patients continuously, ensuring a safe environment and calm bedside care. The role requires vigilant observation, timely reporting, and respectful interaction with patients and staff.

It is a full-time on-site position in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and complete an observer training course or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
