Klover Contracting is seeking a Structural Ironworker – Deck & Joists to install structural flooring systems, metal decking, and related products. The role requires ability to read blueprints, perform welds (optional), and work safely from heights in a Tri-State PA area environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with joists/deck/steel, basic carpentry knowledge, and welding certifications (AWS D1.1) preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum.
• 1+ year experience with floor joist, metal deck, or structural steel installation.
• Knowledge of construction safety devices and PPE.
• 1+ year experience with stick welding; AWS D1.1 SMAW 3G/4G certifications preferred.
• Rigging and signaling experience a plus.
• Basic carpentry knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Accurately measure and read dimensions with a tape measure.
• Assist foreman with layout for installation.
• Fabricate or alter parts using grinders, saws, hammers, or drills.
• Join materials with PAFs, nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Use levels, plumb bobs, squares, and lasers to ensure accuracy.
• Check work to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Install/use rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Install flooring systems according to specs and codes.
• Maneuver and anchor units for installation.
• Perform welds (optional) in various positions.
• Work at heights on elevated platforms.
• Maintain a clean, productive work area and PPE usage.
• Set up and safely use company equipment.
• Maintain welding certification through logs and supervision.
