Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Structural Ironworker.
  • Experience with steel erection, layout, rigging, and field fabrication.
  • Ability to read and understand issued-for-construction drawings and structural specifications.
  • Knowledge of structural connections, bolting, torque and tension procedures, turn-of-nut methods, and Skidmore testing.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment, cutting torches, torque tools, magnetic drills, chain falls, and come-alongs.
  • Knowledge of safe rigging, equipment signaling, and jobsite safety practices.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
  • Reliable transportation.
