Job summary

The position supports joint proposals, ensures credentialing and safety standards, and requires remote-first engagement with travel to partner and field sites, contingent on grant awards.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with private well, septic, or decentralized water training or service delivery.
• Affiliation with an organization able to host or co-deliver training.
• Willingness for time-bounded collaboration.
• Authorization to work with a U.S. research organization.
• Open to full-time employment or project-based contract engagement; remote-first with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent a training provider, public health agency, cooperative extension, nonprofit, or employer serving well and septic professionals.
• Co-design education and training for decentralized water workers.
• Define target geographies, often rural, and trainee pathways.
