Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking a Decedent Services Lead to guide and support the Indigent Decedent Services team within the Office of Vital Registration in the OME ecosystem.

As Decedent Services Lead, you will guide and support the Indigent Decedent Coordinators, the Decedent Services Program Coordinator, and the program supervisor within the Office of Vital Registration’s (OVR) Indigent Decedent Services (CIDS) program, partners, and vendor activity from the satellite office within the Office of the Medical Examiner (OME). This unique and dynamic setting further promotes collaboration amongst various colleagues, industry partners, and groups that benefit the community we serve and the residents that rely upon these critical mandated services.

Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly, or requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software, and Hardware: All staff work with electronic medical records and state databases.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required as necessary (i.e., gloves and mask).
