Job summary

Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is seeking a Programs Specialist to implement and support decarbonization programs for homes, businesses, and vehicles in alignment with our mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. You will lead or support residential and community initiatives, including rebates and direct installation services, with emphasis on the Home Rebates program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and approximately 1 year of experience in sustainability, energy, environmental, customer engagement, or related programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to organize, analyze, and present data and information.
• Possession of a valid Class C California driver’s license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and administration of community decarbonization programs, including customer support and engagement, program and budget tracking, consultant coordination, stakeholder engagement, data collection, and program evaluation, monitoring, and verification activities.
• Research and evaluate potential enhancements to existing programs by gathering and analyzing data, collaborating with internal and external partners, collecting stakeholder input, assessing costs and benefits, and developing recommendations for consideration.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to support collaborations, partnerships, and funding opportunities that advance building and transportation electrification initiatives.
• Develop written and oral communications summarizing program activities, results, and lessons learned to support program planning, continuous improvement, and related policy efforts.
• Communicate program information and lessons learned with internal colleagues, leadership, external partners, and stakeholders, as appropriate.
