Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. in New York seeks an Associate to contribute to the Americas Debt Origination & Credit Structuring practice.

You will help develop Centers of Excellence and cover all asset classes under the Credit Structuring model, focusing on debt structuring and portfolio management to add value and optimize cross-sell within the bank. Responsibilities include evaluating transactions, preparing credit applications, and collaborating with legal, treasury, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Project Financing structures.
• Financial modelling proficiency is key.
• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with debt origination and industry teams to evaluate new transactions and prepare credit applications.
• Explain transaction structures to legal, treasury, credit administration and control teams; assist risk and credit as needed.
• Prepare credit applications with rationale, terms, and financial modelling, including sensitivity analysis and returns.
• Evaluate investments using governing documents, research, financial reports and market information.
