Job summary

Westpac Institutional Bank is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate in New York to originate, structure and execute asset finance transactions for large corporate clients. You will support cross‑regional collaboration with the UK/Europe teams and report to the Director, Head of Asset Finance Americas.

You will build financial models, perform credit analysis and contribute to portfolio management while developing market knowledge and relationships with clients and banks to drive deal flow.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of banking experience or equivalent analytical experience with debt transactions.
• Exposure to structured lending and financial modelling is desirable.
• Strong analytical, credit assessment and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring and execution of asset finance transactions.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and support financing requirements.
• Prepare proposals, term sheets and credit applications.
• Build financial models and analyse transaction returns using Excel.
• Assist in credit approvals, legal documentation and funding processes.
• Develop market knowledge through research and client presentations.
