Blitt and Gaines, P.C. is seeking a Contact Us Associate Attorney who will work directly with opposing counsel, consumers, and authorized parties on settlements. The role involves accessing emails and phone communications, handling settlements, and documenting activities in the firm’s CLS system.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate with Illinois Bar admission, strong discretion, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in collections law is a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and licensure to practice law (Illinois Bar).
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling cases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent spelling/grammar.

Responsibilities

• Interact with opposing counsel, consumers, and authorized parties regarding settlements.
• Access and respond to settlements and pleadings; manage POA email box and related correspondence.
• Accurately document the firm’s system of record (CLS) and provide emails to designated staff.
