Blitt & Gaines Law Offices is seeking a Contact Us Associate Attorney to work directly with opposing counsel, consumers and authorized parties, handling emails and phone communications related to settlements. This position offers exposure to the litigation process, internal controls, and client and firm policies.

Preferred candidates hold a Juris Doctorate with Illinois Bar admission, plus strong writing and speaking skills, and a solid grasp of federal and state collection laws.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and Illinois Bar admission required.
• Additional licenses in BG states are valuable.
• Expert knowledge of all applicable Federal and State collection laws.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact Us Spreadsheet
• Power of Attorney (POA) email box
• Respond to settlements and pleadings as needed
• Management of both telephonic and written contact with opposing counsel and consumer.
• Accurately document the firm’s system of record (CLS)
• Provide sent and received emails to designated firm staff as required
