Job summary

City Tech, part of The City University of New York, is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Dean of the School of Technology and Design. The Dean will provide strategic vision, administrative leadership, and oversight of academic programs across multiple departments in a dynamic urban campus.

Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will guide student and faculty recruitment, retention and diversity, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, fundraising, and curricular updates, and manage budgets

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and eight years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and administrative support for scheduling, accreditation, assessment and continuous improvement.
• Support faculty, students, and staff to advance the college’s mission; promote scholarly activities.
• Ensure effective management of financial resources and facilities; oversee budget and facilities.
