Qualifications

• Ability to articulate St. Mary’s mission within Catholic/Marianist education.
• Earned terminal degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline.
• Experience as a full-time, tenured faculty member.
• Strong record of teaching, scholarship, research, and grant activity.
• Experience as an administrator with budgeting and supervision.
• Ability to work with chairs, program directors, faculty, deans, and external partners.
• Experience with assessment, accreditation, and program planning.
• Evidence of success in student learning, experiential education, and outcomes.
• Ability to support external funding and research infrastructure.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and expanding access in STEM fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for academic programs, enrollment, faculty development and research.
• Oversee operations, budget, and administrative processes of the School.
• Build industry and community partnerships and secure philanthropic support.
• Champion interdisciplinary collaboration and elevate national reputation.
• Guide implementation of strategic plans and academic planning.
