Job summary

NETC in South Carolina seeks a Dean of Workforce Development to lead strategic planning and program development across Chesterfield, Marlboro and Dillon Counties, aligning degrees with community and industry needs. You will oversee enrollment, internships, scheduling, budgets, and partnerships; supervise staff; and develop industry-aligned certifications in collaboration with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related discipline; six years of related work experience.
• Experience with workforce development and industry partnerships.
• Ability to manage office operations, supervise staff and coordinate training.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; capacity to work with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and development of Workforce Development initiatives.
• Align degree offerings with community and industry needs across service areas.
• Oversee enrollment, internships, programs, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Build external partnerships and coordinate advisory boards with stakeholders.
• Develop certifications and industry-aligned training in collaboration with partners.
• Supervise department staff and evaluate performance; manage grants where applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis and ROI-focused actions.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
