Englewood Schools seeks a Dean of Students and Behavior/Management Coach to support the principal with essential non‑administrative tasks that foster student achievement and strong school culture at Bishop Elementary School.

The role emphasizes restorative discipline, staff coaching, and families engagement, with autonomy and a focus on proactive behavioral support and SEL initiatives across the campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in curriculum, instruction, leadership, or school administration (preferred).
• Colorado Teaching License is required.
• Colorado Principal License is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support the principal in day-to-day operations and leadership.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment through supervision and routines.
• Provide timely feedback to students and staff to promote peak performance.
• Serve as primary contact for families regarding behavioral outcomes and challenges.
• Facilitate re-entry meetings after incidents to ensure successful classroom return.
• Coach staff on classroom management and routines; mentor certified and classified staff.
• Design and lead school-wide professional learning on trauma-informed practices and restorative justice.
