Job summary

Lone Star College Online seeks a Dean of Student Success to lead and continually improve holistic student support in a fully online environment. You will oversee advising, tutoring, early alert, and completion initiatives, focusing on credential attainment for adult learners.

Reporting to CAIO, you will drive data-informed strategies, equity-focused practices, and scalable programs for online students, including CBE and HyFlex pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience must include at least 3 years in a management level position.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive online student success model.
• Develop data-informed early alert and intervention strategies for at-risk students.
• Oversee Velocity initiatives to optimize financial aid use and accelerate enrollment and completion.
• Direct a high-performing team of academic advisors, success coaches, and tutoring professionals.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs and the Registrar to align pathways and degree maps.
