Job summary

MCNY in the Bronx seeks a Dean of the School of Human Services to provide strategic academic and operational leadership for multiple programs helping individuals, families, and communities.

The Dean will oversee curriculum, program assessment, faculty development, budgeting, enrollment planning, and external partnerships, advancing student success and community impact while aligning with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in human services, social work, counseling, public administration, education, psychology, sociology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the School of Human Services in alignment with MCNY policies and standards.
• Lead planning, program review, curriculum development, and assessment across the School.
• Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain diverse faculty and staff.
• Manage budget, staffing, scheduling, facilities, and resources.
• Build external partnerships with agencies, organizations, and employers.
