Job summary

Rockland Community College seeks a Dean of Assessment, Program Development and Academic Support to provide strategic leadership for academic assessment, curriculum development, program review, and student support services.

The Dean will ensure SUNY and NYSED compliance, drive continuous improvement, collaborate with faculty and administrators, and partner with external organizations to advance academic programming.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with at least five years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Strong leadership and program assessment experience.
• Experience developing curricula, academic programs, and assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for institutional assessment and continuous improvement.
• Oversee curriculum development, program review, and academic program planning.
• Lead academic support services to promote student retention and completion.
• Coordinate compliance with SUNY, NYSED, accreditation, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with SUNY/NYSED and external partners on curriculum and programming.
• Support grant development and reporting for academic initiatives.
