Job summary

Merrimack College invites applications for the Dean of Experiential Learning, Career Development and Employer Partnerships to lead the College’s integrated strategy for experiential learning, career development, and employer engagement. This is a senior leadership role reporting to campus leadership in North Andover, MA. The Dean will build partnerships, scale programs, and align centers with institutional priorities to prepare students for meaningful careers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in experiential learning, career development, or employer relations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate employer needs into student opportunities and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead institution-wide strategy for experiential learning, career development, employer engagement, and career readiness.
• Lead the O’Brien Center and Scammon Center, defining a unified vision and priorities.
• Expand employer relationships in Greater Boston and New England.
• Integrate career development with experiential learning and collaborate with faculty.
• Build and develop a high-performing team across two centers.
• Measure impact and report to senior leadership with data-driven insights.
