Job summary

Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, LLC seeks an Executive Director to lead as the region's convener for postsecondary attainment and workforce alignment. You will guide strategic planning, partnerships with universities, foundations, and government, and oversee program delivery and financial stewardship.

Based in Tulsa, OK, this role reports to the Board Chair and Tulsa Community Foundation, and focuses on building cross‑sector collaborations, securing diverse funding, and advancing student

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; doctorate valued.
• Significant senior leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit management, philanthropy, or related cross‑sector field.
• Proven ability to secure and manage federal grants and foundation partnerships; federal grant experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading or working with a governing board and 501(c)(3) governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic leadership by guiding plan execution and developing a next strategic plan with the Board.
• Represent the Consortium externally at conferences and policy discussions; build cross‑sector partnerships.
• Oversee diversified revenue strategy including grants, philanthropy, contracts, and dues.
• Develop and retain a high‑performing team; foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Provide strong financial stewardship with budgeting, forecasting, and dashboards for the Board.
• Partner with the Board on governance, recruitment, onboarding, and reporting.
