Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Counseling, or related area.
• 7+ years of significant administrative experience supervising personnel in student services at higher education.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to analyze progression across the student lifecycle and use data to inform retention strategies.
• Commitment to serving a diverse student population.
• Experience with assessment, budgeting, project management and compliance in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Academic Advising, Testing Services, and the New Student Orientation program.
• Advance the college mission by fostering a student-centered culture and supporting student success.
• Coordinate ongoing operations of an integrated student services approach for access, retention, and completion.
• Oversee planning, design and implementation of training and professional development.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Success staff and college administrators to oversee the campus Student Success Center.
• Develop budgets and provide financial oversight for designated departments.
• Coordinate marketing programs, services, events, and outreach related to retention and engagement.
