Job summary

The Tulsa Higher Education Consortium seeks an Executive Director to lead strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and resource development in Tulsa, OK. This role reports to the Board Chair and Tulsa Community Foundation, guiding a mission-driven effort to advance postsecondary attainment and workforce alignment across the region.

The Executive Director will build a high-performing team, manage diverse funding streams, and serve as a trusted neutral convener among higher education,

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; doctorate valued; senior leadership-level experience considered.
• Extensive background in higher education, nonprofit management, or philanthropy.
• Proven ability to secure and manage grants and foundations; federal grant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and plan execution with measurable outcomes.
• Serve as chief external representative and convene across sectors.
• Develop diversified revenue through grants, philanthropy, government contracts, and dues.
• Lead a high-performing team and ensure robust governance and compliance.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and dashboard reporting for the Board.
