Job summary

Brigham Young University Continuing Education seeks a visionary leader to set mission, strategy, and growth for lifelong learning initiatives. You will align CES activities with BYU’s mission, manage operations and budgets, and cultivate strategic partnerships across BYU, the Church Educational System, and the LDS Church.

The role requires a doctorate and 10+ years in higher education leadership, with a track record of program integrity and staff development. Relocation to Utah is expected.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
• Higher education teaching, research, and/or continuing education experience.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Mission, vision, and strategy for BYU Continuing Education.
• Provide strategic direction for planning, operations, fiscal and personnel management.
• Foster partnerships with CES, BYU units, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
• Ensure program excellence and compliance with policies and laws.
• Lead full-time, part-time, student and contract employees toward growth.
• Approve annual budgets and oversee endowment-related finances.
