Grand Canyon University seeks the inaugural Dean of the College of Construction & Industrial Technologies (CCIT) to lead with a strong Christian vision and strategic oversight. This role will shape program development, accreditation, and partnerships at a national level while ensuring academic excellence and industry relevance.

The Dean will drive innovation in delivery methods, collaborate with university services, and guide faculty through growth, assessment, and a shared mission to prepare

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; significant experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing.
• Proven leadership in industry/government/military settings.
• Ability to lead at operational and strategic levels.
• Commitment to integrating Christian faith in leadership and education.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background investigations.
• Support Doctrinal statements, Ethical Position, and Mission of GCU.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for CCIT.
• Develop and scale programs with academic rigor and national reach.
• Partner with university services and external industry to advance programs.
• Oversee curriculum design, instruction, and accreditation processes.
• Manage college operations, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Engage with industry partners to build strategic pipelines and opportunities.
