Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Demonstrated understanding of community college philosophy and student success initiatives.
• Effective leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, selecting, evaluating, mentoring, and supervising faculty and staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Administrative and supervisory experience with budgeting experience.
• Ability to build consensus around strategic initiatives and effectively use technology.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Lead efforts to increase student retention and completion and prepare students for living-wage employment.
• Manage curriculum development and program offerings in the division.
• Oversee division budgets and master course schedules.
• Lead the dual enrollment program and partnerships with public schools.
• Provide leadership for assessment and program review activities.
• Support workforce development alignment with business and industry.
• Ensure compliance with college, state, and accrediting requirements.
• Build relationships with employers, advisory committees, and regional stakeholders.
• Promote integration of technology in teaching and learning.
