Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent, or 5 years related experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable data.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate sales staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates sales staff performance.
• Hires, trains, and motivates salespeople.
• Sets annual and monthly sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit goals.
• Manages inventory orders for new and used vehicles.
• Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.
• Displays, merchandises and promotes vehicles.
• Reviews market data and sales reports to identify customer needs and volume potential; develops campaigns.
• Serves as liaison between sales and other departments.
• Oversees expenditures to meet budget requirements.
• Schedules New Owner Clinics post-delivery.
• Maintains professional appearance; attends managers meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
