Job summary
Legacy Ford in Kentucky is seeking an Automotive Service Technician with dealership experience to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a service technician background with at least 2 years of dealership experience and strong diagnostic abilities.
You will work with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to complete repairs on time, perform routine maintenance, and pursue Ford STST certifications to advance technical skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of automotive service technician experience at a car dealership.
- Ford certification highly preferred.
- ASE or other OEM certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in brakes, suspension, HVAC, and drivability diagnostics.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a safe driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of vehicle repairs, including brakes, suspension, HVAC systems, and basic drivability concerns.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from senior technicians.
- Work with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Complete routine maintenance services, including fluid changes, alignments, and filter replacements.
- Document repair work accurately on the Repair Order.
- Continue ongoing training to advance technical skills and achieve Ford STST certifications.
