Job summary

Community Car Care in Kentucky is seeking an Auto Technician to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues, perform routine maintenance, and use electronic diagnostic equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, trade school certification in Automotive Technology, and at least 2 years of hands-on experience. ASE certification is preferred, along with strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certification in Automotive Technology or equivalent work experience.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brakes.
• Use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep up-to-date with automotive technology advancements.
