Job summary

Lithia & Driveway in Dallas is seeking a Dealership Accountant I at the 14900 Landmark Blvd location. You will join the Accounting Processing Center and report to the Business Manager, performing core dealership accounting tasks in an on-site office.

You’ll gain exposure to service contracts, warranty processing, inventory activity, and intercompany postings while collaborating with a small team to maintain accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year accounting experience with COA, debits and credits.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years of Auto Industry experience.
• Retail Sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Submission of Service Contracts
• Submission of Warranty Contracts
• New car purchases and dealer trades
• Record used car purchases
• Request and process lien payoffs
• Process cash receipts
• Regional check runs
• Process and payment of vendor invoices
• FTC reconciliation
• Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, etc.)
• Post to Intercompany accounts
• Other responsibilities as assigned

You will report to the Business Manager and work with other accountants in an on-site office environment.

Location: 14900 Landmark Blvd. Dallas, TX. 75254

Complensation Range: The full salary range for this position is $35,000-55,000 annually. The anticipated starting pay for this role is $21.00-24.00 an hour, based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
