Lithia & Driveway's Dealership Accounting team in Anchorage is seeking an entry-level Dealership Accountant I at L0650 Northwest Finance Center. This role focuses on accurate posting of dealership transactions and supports financial operations for the Anchorage Chevrolet site.

You will report to the Business Manager or Accounting Manager, learn COA basics, and develop through hands-on accounting tasks, customer service, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Solid basic understanding of COA, debits and credits.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Submit and process service and warranty contracts.
• Record new and used car transactions and dealer trades.
• Process cash receipts and vendor invoices; reconcile accounts.
• Handle regional check runs and intercompany postings.
• Support FTC reconciliations and manufacturer monies accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Dealership Accountant I is an entry level position that ensures accurate and consistent recording of dealership transactions. This is a traditional accounting role that manages transactional posting of dealership activities. Accounting acumen is required. High performers will build upon their accounting & financial acumen while also building relationship and influential leadership skills. This will serve them well on a path to an Accounting Manager Role or if coupled with Automotive and Business acumen on the path to a Business Manager The Dealership Accountant I reports to the Business Manager or Accounting Manager. Location: Anchorage, Alaska In-person Monday - Friday Compensation Range: $17.80 - $26.45, with a typical starting range of $22/hr - $25.25/hr. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
