Job summary

AutoNation seeks a Dealer Performance Manager to bridge corporate transformation with dealership execution. You will build trusted advisor relationships with General Managers and department heads, champion new technologies, and deliver hands-on training.

You will drive data-informed recommendations to improve KPIs across Sales, Service, and Operations. The role requires travel to multiple AutoNation locations, strong communication, and a collaborative, consultative approach to sustain day-to-day

Qualifications

• Five or more years in automotive dealership environments.
• Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships in a field-facing capacity.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, training initiatives, or process improvement programs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive technology ecosystem, including CRM and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned AutoNation dealership locations.
• Conduct on-site visits to build relationships with GMs and department leaders.
• Champion rollout of new technologies and provide hands-on training across Sales, Service, and Operations functions.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations and action plans with clear milestones and KPIs.
• Translate complex tech features into practical, end-user applications and serve as escalation point for questions.
