Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a hands-on Sales Performance & Operations Manager to drive sales excellence across underperforming used-vehicle stores. You will diagnose performance gaps, coach store teams, and implement processes linking centralized customer interactions—phone, eCommerce, and BDC—to the in-store experience.

You will partner with General Managers and Sales Managers, leveraging CRM and dashboards to surface actionable insights, and lead initiatives to grow Used Vehicle Volume, Gross Profit

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive retail experience.
• 3+ years of automotive sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed in underperforming stores to diagnose root causes and build action plans.
• Coach and train Sales Managers to develop leaders and coaches.
• Analyze funnel metrics to identify conversion opportunities from lead to appointment to show to sale.
• Drive purchase conversions and finalize in-store purchases from call-center appointments.
• Teach processes connecting centralized/digital interactions to in-store experience.
• Collaborate with eCommerce to optimize staffing, management, and process execution.
• Roll out and scale new sales processes across the group.
• Provide feedback to leadership on performance and opportunities.
