Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet of Redding is hiring a Dealer Trade Driver for an on-call position. The role involves transporting vehicles between dealerships, verifying paperwork, and ensuring vehicles are clean and undamaged before delivery.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of long-distance driving experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a safety-conscious mindset to help us maintain excellent customer service and

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between dealerships and designated locations while ensuring safe handling.
• Verify vehicle identification numbers and stock numbers match paperwork.
• Ensure dealer invoices accompany paperwork for each vehicle.
• Check that traded vehicles are clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
• Notify GSM or Manager if damage is found and manage missing items and keys.

You will transport vehicles between dealerships and designated locations while ensuring you deliver every vehicle safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and takes pride in representing our dealership.What You'll DoEnsure that vehicle identification numbers and stock number of each vehicle match paperwork.Ensure copies of dealer invoice accompany paperwork for each vehicle.Ensure that the vehicle being traded is clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.Notify GSM or Manager on duty immediately if you find any damage on a vehicle being traded.Ensure all reference guides, keys, wheel locks, accompany all traded vehicles and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when trade is completeYou must thoroughly inspect newly traded vehicles, inside and out, before accepting delivery from the dealership.If you find damage (i.e. scratches, door dings etc.), find the GSM or Manager on duty and contact them before they leave their lot. DO NOT return with a damaged vehicle unless you have notified the GSM or Desk Manager.Note any missing keys, books, wheel locks, floor mats. Make every effort to ensure these items accompany the appropriate vehicle.
