Job summary

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) is seeking an INFORMATION SPECIALIST II (WT: DEALER ASSISTANCE SPECIALIST) to provide information to licensed dealers, regional offices, and tax collector staff.

You will review dealer license applications, process title transactions, and maintain records while handling dealer inquiries. A CJIS clearance and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Researching, reviewing, and analyzing dealer license applications and related documents.
• Serving as primary contact for dealer licensing matters across various dealer types.
• Processing requests from dealers, law offices, courts, and the public.
• Processing title applications and registrations per Florida policies.
• Reviewing consumer complaints to determine jurisdiction for investigation.
• Maintaining files, composing correspondence, and preparing reports.
• Maintaining inventory and using MFMP to purchase supplies.
