Job summary

Sydecar is seeking a Deal Operations Consultant to own complex, time-sensitive deals. You will work directly with fund managers and investors, helping to resolve issues quickly and ensuring smooth deal execution.

In this hands-on role, you’ll improve how we train, review, and scale the deal operations function, collaborating with Legal, Tax, and Product teams to educate first-time Deal Organizers and to shape future workflows.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in banking, venture capital, fund administration, or similar roles requiring accuracy and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Ability to unblock critical moments in deals and educate customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with large customers to execute deals smoothly.
• Triage and resolve time-sensitive customer issues blocking deal execution.
• Make fast, responsible decisions and know when to elevate to cross-functional partners.
• Identify product and process improvements for future workflows.
• Liaise with Legal, Tax, and Product teams to answer questions for first-time Deal Organizers.
• Develop expert knowledge of our product and customers.
• Support customer-facing projects and product discovery.
