Job summary

Deloitte’s Enterprise Operations & Risk team seeks a Senior Consultant for Private Markets to shape operating models and oversee complex deal execution. The role partners with deal professionals, finance, legal, and tax to ensure smooth processing, data accuracy, and compliant workflows across private investments.

You will drive process improvements through technology and lead stakeholder engagement, mentoring teams and ensuring operational excellence in private markets and real assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or CFA/CPA are a plus.
• 3+ years' experience in private markets or real assets operations.
• Deep understanding of private markets and loan documentation, deal lifecycle management, and front-to-back operational flows.
• Strong familiarity with asset management technologies and systems (e.g., Advent Geneva, Clearwater, PAM, Aladdin) is desirable.
• Proven excellence in organization, communication, and project management in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to leverage technology for operational efficiency and risk reduction.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and design of target operating models for private markets investment operations.
• Support clients in building and enhancing operations servicing models across diverse portfolios of credit investments.
• Advise on daily reconciliation, onboarding, and month-end close processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee or advise on private deal fundings, cash management, pipeline monitoring, settlement, and process improvements.
• Support and optimize client reporting solutions, data review, and effective client communication strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory requirements, market best practices, and technology enablement in private markets operations.
