Job summary

Sydecar is seeking a Deal Operations Consultant to lead complex, time-sensitive deals with fund managers and investors. You will resolve issues, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time deal closures while staying close to customers.

The role rewards clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to scale processes as the company grows, including helping train and improve our operations over time.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in banking, venture capital, fund administration, or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication with client-facing experience.
• Interest in venture investing and back-office VC operations.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Able to switch tasks across dozens of customers and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with our largest customers to execute deals smoothly.
• Triage and resolve time-sensitive customer issues blocking deal execution.
• Make fast, responsible decisions and elevate when needed.
• Identify product and process improvements for future workflow.
• Liaise with Legal, Tax, and Product teams to answer questions.
• Develop expert knowledge of our product and customers.
• Support customer-facing projects and product discovery.
