Job summary

Jobot is seeking corporate associates to join a transactional practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity work. This role offers exposure to a wide range of deal types and the opportunity to work closely with sponsors, companies, and internal deal teams across all stages of transactions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of corporate transactional experience, strong drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory capabilities.
• Strong communication and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft and negotiate primary and ancillary transaction documents.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction structuring and execution.
• Coordinate deal processes, including timelines and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with team members on complex corporate matters.
• Assist with post-closing matters and ongoing client advisory work.
